Popular YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina were called in for questioning by the Maharashtra Cyber Cell in connection with the recent obscenity case related to the show ‘India’s Got Latent’, officials confirmed.
The Maharashtra Cyber Cell had sent three summonses to Allahbadia and Raina, requesting their presence at the investigating officer’s office in Mumbai.
Both YouTubers appeared at the Maharashtra Cyber office located in the Cuffe Parade area of South Mumbai as per the summons.
It was noted that Allahbadia had missed his earlier appointment with the Maharashtra Cyber Cell to provide his statement.
The Maharashtra Cyber Cell is a division focused on cyber and information security under the jurisdiction of the Maharashtra Home Department.
