Trader’s Nose Chopped Off In Heated Argument Over Shop Setup

In a disturbing turn of events, a dispute over setting up a shop on a pavement in Karnataka’s Belagavi escalated into violence when one trader had his nose chopped off.

What Happened?

Sufiyan Pathan, aged 42, was attempting to establish his shop in Khanjar Galli of Khade Bazaar when a disagreement with another individual turned into a heated argument.

The accused, identified as Ayan Desai, resorted to extreme measures by taking out a knife and brutally chopping off Sufiyan’s nose. Another man named Sameer Pathan also suffered injuries during the altercation.

Current Status

Sufiyan is currently receiving medical treatment at BIMS Hospital in Belagavi. The police have taken action by registering a case and initiating a search for the perpetrator, Desai.
