Man Dies in Road Accident Rushing Home After Wife’s Death – Police

Heartbreaking News from Bareilly:

A man named Sanjay, aged 28, lost his life in a tragic road accident in Mirganj area of Bareilly. He was returning home with his younger brother Rinku, aged 22, after hearing about his wife’s sudden demise. The accident occurred on National Highway-24 late Monday night when an unidentified vehicle hit their motorcycle.

Sanjay was declared dead on the spot, while Rinku sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Bareilly. Sanjay, a labourer in Punjab and resident of Ramuapur Raghuveer village in Bahraich, was devastated by the news of his wife’s death and rushed back home with his brother.

Despite the efforts of the medical staff, Sanjay could not be saved. His body has been sent for post-mortem and will be taken to Bahraich. The accident occurred in Mirganj on NH-24 when a speeding vehicle collided with their bike, throwing both brothers and the motorcycle onto the road.

Sanjay and Pooja, his wife, had been married for six years and have a four-year-old daughter. Tragedy struck the family as Pooja passed away during childbirth on the same day. Sanjay was eager to return home upon hearing the news, but fate had a different plan for him.

The grieving family has decided to perform the last rites of both Sanjay and Pooja together. Mirganj Police is actively investigating the case and has filed a report against the unidentified vehicle involved in the hit-and-run.

CCTV footage from the area is being reviewed to identify the vehicle responsible for the accident. Our hearts go out to the family and loved ones of Sanjay and Pooja during this difficult time.
