Breaking News: Woman’s Husband Strangled to Death by Lovers in Haryana
Two lovers in Haryana’s Hisar district have been arrested for the murder of a woman’s husband. The shocking incident occurred after the couple was caught in an objectionable position by the victim.
The Love Story
Raveena, 32, and Suresh met on Instagram and began creating short videos together in Premnagar, Haryana. Despite objections from Raveena’s husband Praveen and his family, the couple continued their content creation for over a year.
Raveena gained popularity on Instagram with over 34,000 followers and also collaborated with other artists on YouTube. Despite facing opposition from her family, Raveena remained dedicated to making videos, leading to conflicts with her husband.
The Tragic Incident
On March 25, Praveen, 35, discovered Raveena and Suresh in a compromising position, leading to a confrontation. In a fit of rage, the lovers strangled Praveen to death with a dupatta. When questioned by family members about Praveen’s whereabouts, Raveena feigned ignorance.
Under the cover of darkness, Raveena and Suresh transported Praveen’s body on a bike and dumped it in a drain six kilometers away from Raveena’s residence. The body was discovered in a decomposed state on March 28 by the Sadar police.
CCTV footage captured the duo on the bike with Praveen’s body placed between them. Subsequent footage showed Raveena returning home with the rider, but without the body, raising suspicions.
Legal Action and Family Situation
Both Raveena and Suresh have been arrested and are currently in jail. Meanwhile, Praveen’s six-year-old son is under the care of his grandfather and uncle following the tragic incident.
This murder comes on the heels of a similar case in Uttar Pradesh, where a man and woman killed the woman’s husband, dismembered his body, and concealed it in a drum filled with cement. The shocking nature of these crimes has sparked fear and concern among the public.
