Breaking News: British Tourist Raped in Delhi

A British woman who came to Delhi to meet a man she met on Instagram was raped by him at a hotel in Mahipalpur. The accused, Kailash, has been arrested for rape, while his friend, Wasim, has been charged with molesting the UK tourist.
The woman had come to India for a holiday in Maharashtra and Goa. She called Kailash from there and he asked her to come to Delhi. She arrived in Delhi on Tuesday and stayed at a hotel in Mahipalpur. That night, Kailash and Wasim allegedly assaulted her.
The next morning, the woman went to the Vasant Kunj police station to file a complaint. The police have informed the British High Commission about the incident and are providing assistance to the victim.
According to the woman, Kailash works at a private company and had difficulty communicating in English, using Google Translate to talk to her.
